Solar Thermal Water Heating (also called domestic hot water) is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective technology that harnesses the sun's energy to provide for the hot water needs of homes and businesses.

The Solomon Solar Institute & Adult Education Center (SSI-AEC) is a Los Angles based non-profit educational center established to provide training and certifications in the field of renewable energy. SSI-AEC’s mission is to become the premier renewable energy training facility in Los Angeles. SSI-AEC will also offer other courses to provide a broad foundation in this rapidly changing environment.

SSI-AEC ‘s combination of Virtual and “hands-on” technology will prepare students (local High Schools, Rehabilitation, EDD and Community Outreach programs) for the rapidly changing job market. In addition, SSI-AEC’s Job assistance center will assist students in the job search process upon completion of the program(s).
